About
Ian Underhill (He/Him) is a performer based in New York City, originally from Jacksonville, FL. He is a recent graduate of the CAP 21 Conservatory/ Molloy University where he received his BFA in Theatre Arts. His theatre career began in elementary school when he played the role of Pepper in Annie Jr. In high school, Ian participated in 18 shows as an actor (12) and a technician (15). While in college he participated in many projects, workshops, and fully staged productions. Some of his favorites were Carousel, the workshop of Galaxy Quest the Musical, Head Over Heels, and Typed. a new musical.
In his free time, Ian loves to learn new things about any field possible ranging from real estate and business to quantum physics. He also loves to read and play video games when he has the chance. He is a die-hard Jaguars fan having grown up in Jacksonville.
Artist Statement
I wish to inspire younger generations of performers through the medium of art. To tell relatable stories and help young artists see themselves in various projects. Using theater as a way for me to share these stories truthfully and passionately. To use my love of art to change the world's future and create a more peaceful and artistic world where all stories can be shared.
